13th Annual Joe Hogan Memorial Golf Tournament - Sept. 16th
This year golfers can choose from three difference courses: Sutton Creek Golf & Country Club, Pointe West Golf Club or Ambassador Golf Club. Choice of course will be on a first paid, first choice basis. Shot gun start at 10:00am. The $160 entry fee includes 18 holes with a cart, gift bag, hotdog and beer at the turn and a Par 3 challenge. Dinner will follow at the Giovanni Caboto Club at 6:00pm sharp. Tickets for dinner only are $55 and a table of eight is available for $400. Proceeds from this year's event will benefit prostate cancer research and education at the Cancer Centre and Hospice. John Beleutz Memorial Golf Tournament - Sept. 18th
The tournament will take place at Fox Glen Golf Course with tee-off at 11:00am. Contact Maggie, Sean or Aaron at the Amherstburg Police Department for registration and details, 519-736-2252.

7th Annual Durocher Charity Classic - Sept. 25th
Held in memory of Joanne Meloche, Armand Durocher, Gary Durocher and those we love. The 4-player, team scramble format will be held at Rochester Place Golf Course with a 7:00am check-in, 8:00am tee-time and 1:00pm lunch and prizes. Golf with a cart and lunch is $135, lunch only is $50, hole sponsorship is $125 and cart sponsorship is $350. Entry deadline is September 1st. Cancer Talk 2010 - Colon Cancer Forum - Sept. 29th
This year's Cancer Talk Forum - "The Power of Poo" - will focus on colon cancer. Doors open at the Caboto Club at 6:30pm with key note speakers Adam van Koeverden and Joe van Koeverden addressing the audience at 7:35pm. Admission is free. The Ladies Expo - "Today It's All About You" - Oct. 17th

Jog4Joe - Nov. 14th
Brad Byrne will be running 31kms from the Cancer Centre to the Belle River Food Bank. Brad is running in honour of his father Joe, who passed from cancer. Proceeds to the Seeds4Hope program and Lakeshore Community Services.  Run or walk along with Brad on a 5K, 10K, one leg of a Team Relay, or all 31K!

River Canard Knights of Cloumbus Fundraiser - Aug. 29th
Join us for great entertainment featuring Elvis & Friends. Admission is free. 12:00pm - 8:00pm. There will be food and a cash bar available. Raffle tickets for (6) draws of $1,500 are available in the Foundation office for $5.00 each or (3) for $10.00. Draw takes place that day.

4th Annual Mark II Memorial Golf Tournament - Aug. 21st
onouring the memories of Mark Brannagan and Mark Sokol, this annual tournament raises funds for the Cancer Centre Foundation as well as the Trillium Health Centre in Toronto. This year's tournament will be held at Dominion Golf Course with a goal of raising $10,000 this year. Shotgun start at 8:00am. Golf and dinner is $110, golf only is $70 and dinner only is $55. Frank Taylor EMS Memorial Golf Tournament - Aug. 13th
Join us for a four person scramble-style golf tournament at Dominion Golf Course. This annual road race features a 5K, 10K, half marathon and Kids 1K Disney Dash.

5th Annual Randy Atkinson Memorial Golf Tournament - July 17th
The event, now in its fifth year, has raised over $40,000 to date, helping (27) families dealing with cancer with travel, food and accommodation costs, in the Stoney Point, Tilbury, Comber and Merlin areas. The tournament will be held at Tilbury Golf Club with a meal to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Cost to golf is $75 (cart not included), or $80 for a buffet breakfast and golf. Nantais Family Wine Trolley Fundraiser - July 11th
What a way to spend a Sunday afternoon! The trolley will depart from Windsor Crossings (1555 Talbot Rd.) at 11:00am, and will make stops at three area wineries for wine tasting, lunch and door prizes. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are $85 per person. A tax receipt for $35 will be issued. McGregor Music Festival - June 13th
Featuring the best local bands in an all-day concert with great food and even better prizes to be won. Raffles, car show and a pig auction too! Tickets at the door - $5 adults, $2 teens 13-18, and kids under 12 are free.

Rock 4 the Cure - June 4th
Come out to the Blind Dog Concert Hall at 671 Ouellette Avenue for an all-ages, fun evening of great entertainment for a great cause! Five bands will perform, including: Alecture, A Point in 7, The Main Squeeze, Outspoken and Radio Adelaide. Doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are $5 in advance or $7 at the door. Motorcycle Ride for Dad - May 30th
Join us on this incredible event that takes riders on a beautiful tour of Windsor and Essex County and raises funds for Prostate Cancer education, awareness and research. Visit: www.motorcycleridefordad.org to download your registration and pledge forms.

Help Raise Awareness for Breast Cancer - May
Stop in to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 157 at 281 Dalhousie Street, to make your donation to the Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation. A cheque presentation will take place at the end of May. Proceeds raised will go to Breast Cancer Equipment and Research (Seeds4Hope). For an official income tax receipt, please leave your full name and address with the Legion when making your donation.

Shar's Spa "Cook Out for Cancer" - April 24th & 25th
Join us in the parking lot of the Meloche's No Frills in Amherstburg for a BBQ, 50/25/25 draw and raffle!

TV Cogeco Plugged IN - March 30th - April 11th
Watch local community magazine show Plugged IN, March 30th - April 11th as host Brooke Pashley interviews University of Windsor researchers and Cancer Centre Foundation Seeds4Hope recipients Dr. Lisa Porter and Dr. Dora Cavallo-Medved, along with Foundation President Margaret Williams, about the Seeds4Hope program. Airs Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:00pm, 6:30pm and 11:00pm, and Sundays at 12:30pm on Cogeco Cable 11.

The Mill Tavern - April 27th
Come out and enjoy shish kabob on a bun and Greek salad dinner while enjoying the music of Celtic bands. Doors open at 5:00pm, dinner is at 6:00pm, bands start at 7:00pm and the auction items will close at 10:00pm. Rose Bowl Bowl-a-thon - April 10th
New date! New time! New location! Pledge sheets are ready, so give Nancy a call at the Foundation office, and let's make this another fun and successful year! Register your team of 3-5 people. Pledges of $100 or more receive a free t-shirt.

Essex Chapter #153, O.E.S. Charity Golf Event - April 9th
