Planning a Fundraising Event
Planning a fundraiser? The Windsor and Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation would be pleased to be the charity of choice for your next
event. It is through donations and events that we are able to fulfil our goals of enhancing the care and treatment of cancer patients
in Windsor and Essex County.
Some examples of fundraising events are:
. Casual dress-down days at your place of employment
. Golf tournaments
• Yard sales
• Fitness challenges
• Raffles and 50/50 draws
• Live or silent auctions
• Galas
• Car washes
• Craft Shows, Fairs
• Brunches with speakers
• Bike-a-thons, Walk-a-thons, Bowl-a-thons, Dance-a-thons, etc.
We would be pleased to help you with your event through:
• Use of the WECCCF logo
• Advertising your event through our mailings and throughout the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre
• Assisting with the planning of your event
• Sending thank you letters and tax receipts to the participants and sponsors
* Please note that raffles, 50/50 draws, casinos and alcohol permits are regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming
